Smorden Tomoka

Smorden Tomoka is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program management. Serving as the Regional WASH Advisor at Self Help Africa since August 2006, Smorden provides strategic leadership, business development, and technical assistance for WASH initiatives in Malawi and Mozambique. Previously held roles within the organization include WASH Program Manager and WASH Program Coordinator, contributing significantly to program development and management. Earlier experience includes District Coordinator at LUANAR-Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Training Consultant & Program Leader at Illovo Sugar Africa. Smorden holds a Master's degree in MBA Management from the University of Nicosia and a BSc in Agriculture with a focus on Agricultural Engineering from Bunda College.
