Brenda Contreras

Brenda Contreras is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Self Financial, Inc. since March 2021, Brenda leads architecture, innovation, data, and AI/ML solutions. Additionally, Brenda has been a Board Member in a tech advisory capacity at Cymatrax, Inc. since January 2021. Prior professional roles include Technical Director of Application Architecture at Charles Schwab, Lead Software Architect at Serenova, Senior Principal Architect at Infor, Product Architect at Starmount, and Architect/Developer at Whole Foods Market. Brenda holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
