Lisa Bartanus has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and education sectors. Lisa began their career as a Management Engineering Intern at WVU Hospitals in 1987. Lisa then worked at Premier, Inc. as a Management Engineer for a year before joining Self Regional Healthcare in 1989. At Self Regional Healthcare, Lisa served as the Director of the Management Engineering Department until 2002. From 2002 until 2018, they worked as the Training Director at Piedmont Technical College. Currently, Lisa holds the position of Director of Quality at Self Regional Healthcare, a role they have been in since 2018.
Lisa Bartanus earned their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University, graduating in 1987. Prior to that, they attended Upper St. Clair High School from 1981 to 1983. Lisa Bartanus completed their earlier education at Huguenot High School from 1979 to 1981.

Self Regional Healthcare is an independent not-for-profit, regional referral hospital that provides care to 300,000 residents of Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Saluda, McCormick, Edgefield and Newberry counties. Self Medical Group is Self Regional’s employed physician affiliate network of 25 primary and specialty care practices and more than 75 physicians. The 450-bed hospital is located in the city of Greenwood, tucked between the Upstate and Midlands of South Carolina. Greenwood is well known for the acclaimed Festival of Flowers that attracts visitors from all regions of the country every year and for its historically rich and progressive Uptown area.
