Aleksa Ristić, MSc (Pharm) has a diverse work experience. Aleksa began their career as a Pharmacist intern at BENU Apoteka in 2017, and then moved on to become a Pharmacist at the same company. In 2017, they also started their career as a Freelance Medical Writer at Online, where they worked on KOL mapping, data analysis, and health research projects. In 2019, they joined SelfHacked.com as a Science Writer. Finally, in 2020, they joined SelfDecode as a Medical Communications Specialist and Science Writer, where they researched complex scientific and medical literature and presented it to a lay audience, as well as researching and writing about links between people's genes and health conditions, and how to potentially reduce their impact through diet, supplementation, and lifestyle changes.

Aleksa Ristić, MSc (Pharm) completed a Master's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Pharmacy and the University of Belgrade between 2011 and 2016. In 2017, they obtained a certification as an IAPWE writer from the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors.
