Evelyn J. Wolff

Evelyn Wolff has extensive experience in the affordable housing sector, currently working in real estate development at Selfhelp Community Services since February 2009. Wolff operates a consulting practice since 2007, focusing on assignments for advocates and providers of affordable multifamily housing. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Centerline Capital Group, managing loan processes and developing new products, and Managing Director at NW Financial Group, facilitating affordable housing proposals and negotiating significant HUD-held loan sales. Additional experience encompasses consultancy roles at Hamilton Securities and Bear, Stearns & Co., as well as a long tenure as Deputy Director of Housing at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Wolff holds a BA in Sociology from Smith College and an MA in International Relations from Columbia University.
