Arry Dhillion

Board Member at Selkirk College

Arry was born and raised in Castlegar, B.C. After graduating from Stanley Humphries, he attended Selkirk College and studied Psychology in the University Transfer Program. During his time at Selkirk he was elected to the Board of Governors as a student representative. His experience influenced his decision to switch fields into Business Management, which he later studied at Simon Fraser University.

Arry also worked under Selkirk College's Regional Innovation Chair and researched housing value changes in the Columbia Basin region. At Simon Fraser, he served on the student society, SFU Senate, Board of Governors, Community Trust, and graduated from the Beedie School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a specialty in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Upon graduating from SFU, Arry proceeded to obtain his CPA, CMA designation as a professional accountant.

Arry has previously worked as an Accountant for Kalawsky Chevrolet, Buick GMC Ltd., Castlegar Hyundai, the Kalawsky Collision Centre, and as Controller for Castlegar Kia. He has also served as a City Councillor for the City of Castlegar. He was approached by Mercer Celgar to work as a Business Analyst, and now works there as an Accountant.
