Roberto Formia possesses extensive experience in the financial technology and digital payments sectors, currently serving as the Head of Digital Economy at Gruppo Banca Sella since December 1999. In this role, Roberto leads the Fintech and Digital Payments department, focusing on growth opportunities and strategic relationships with key stakeholders. Prior positions include Commercial and Financial Manager, where responsibilities expanded from client portfolio management to overall commercial strategy and economic performance, and IT Project Manager, overseeing IT projects and resource management. Additionally, Roberto participates as a mentor in StartupBootCamp's accelerator programs and was a Steering Committee member for the FINTECH LIGHTHOUSE HUB at CeTIF from January 2020 to January 2022. Roberto holds an Executive MBA from Hult Ashridge Executive Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Administration and Organizational Sciences from Università degli Studi di Torino.
