Meredith Story, Esq.

Meredith Story, Esq. has a diverse range of legal experience. Meredith is currently working as Internal Legal Counsel at SellersFi. Prior to their current role, they worked as In-House Counsel at Client First Settlement Funding from 2014 to 2021. In this position, they were responsible for underwriting transactions, performing internal due diligence on contracts, and drafting contracts for the transfer of lottery prize receivables. Meredith also provided guidance to account executives on necessary documents for petitions. Before joining Client First Settlement Funding, Meredith worked as a Law Clerk at the Law Firm of Gary M. Singer from 2012 to 2013. Their responsibilities included drafting litigation documents, conducting legal research in real estate law, and assisting an Associate Attorney with drafting Summary Judgment packets. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Judicial Intern to General Magistrate Rita Ugarte at the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida in 2012. In this role, they observed and participated in courtroom proceedings, drafted reports for hearings, and analyzed parties' strategies with the General Magistrate.

Meredith Story, Esq. obtained their Juris Doctor degree in Law from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. Meredith attended this institution from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
