Ryne Sitar has a long and varied work experience. In 2011, they worked as an intern at Wilson Okamoto Corporation, where they assisted engineers with on-site inspections and various projects. In 2012, they were an engineering intern at Theatre Projects, where they designed various stage equipment layout options through the use of AutoCAD. In 2013, they were a mechanical engineering intern at Boeing, where they conducted and presented research on multiple projects for the 737 Mechanical Hydraulic team, and designed new hydraulic tubing brackets for the 737 NG program. In 2014, they were a product development engineer at innoTS, where they conducted research and development of various thermal management products and lead the development of thermoelectric projects and ideas. Lastly, in 2015, they co-founded Selly Automotive, where they currently drive the vision, product, and engineering execution of both the Web and Mobile applications, communicates with all business functions to set and align the company's product vision and business goals, and is responsible for the E2E design and execution of all Selly products and features.

Ryne Sitar attended Punahou School from 2006 to 2010. Ryne then attended Santa Clara University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2012, they studied at Queen Mary University of London.
