Øystein Thorup

Øystein Thorup has extensive experience in the real estate and investment sectors, currently serving as a board member at OMA and Selvaag Bolig since 2021 and 2020, respectively. Thorup has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Avantor ASA since 2012 and was the Chair of the Board at Norsk Eiendom from 2016 to 2021. Additional board membership included OSLO METROPOLITAN AREA from 2014 to 2020. Previous roles in Orkla ASA involved serving as Managing Director of Orkla Real Estate and overseeing investment and development from 2008 to 2012. Thorup began the career as a broker at DnB NOR Næringsmegling AS and also worked at Gjensidige NOR Næringsmegning AS and Ibsen Eiendom AS. Thorup earned a Cand Jur degree in Law from the University of Oslo between 1992 and 1999.
