Shane Epiha Minstd

Shane Epiha MInstD currently serves as an RMA Chair Endorsement and Commissioner at the Ministry for the Environment since December 2023. Additionally, Shane has held various roles within the Selwyn District Council since October 2019, including Councillor, Chair of the Finance/Performance and Investment Committee, and member of the Audit and Risk and District Licensing Committees. Shane also works as the National Sales Manager and Business Development Advisor at SuperTyre, is a Trustee and Treasurer for the Noaia Charitable Trust, and serves as Chairperson of the Te Punawai O Tuhinapo Community Liaison Committee. Shane is a member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand and represented the rural provincial sector for Local Government New Zealand from December 2022 to December 2023. Previous experience includes roles such as Senior Business Advisor at HTK Group and Business Development Manager at Waireka Group. Shane holds a Certificate in Mauri Ora from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and completed the Company Directors Course with the Institute of Directors in New Zealand in March 2023.
