Daniel Reininger

Founder & CEO at Semandex Networks

Daniel Reininger is the founder and CEO of Semandex Networks. Daniel has also worked as an adjunct professor and part-time lecturer at Rutgers University, where they taught graduate level courses in Communication Networking. Daniel has also worked as a member of the technical staff at CCRL, NEC, where they were responsible for active services on programmable networks, soft quality-of-service (soft-QoS) algorithms for IP/ATM networks, and decentralized resource allocation and control in broadband networks. In addition, they have also designed and evaluated traffic management mechanisms based on microeconomic principles, and derived novel charging models for broadband services based on hierarchical bandwidth markets with dynamic pricing.

Daniel Reininger's educational career includes a BS and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University.
