Yoon Seok Kang

Yoon Seok Kang serves as the Senior Vice President for the HR team at SEMES since January 2021, after promotion from Samsung Electronics, overseeing all HR matters across global branches in the US and China. With an extensive career at Samsung Electronics starting in 1990, roles have included Vice President of Human Resources in the System LSI Business, managing HR functions for global R&D branches, and leading HR operations at various complexes. Yoon Seok Kang has also directed HR for the LED business unit, the Test & Package Center, and the Semiconductor R&D Center, focusing on employee relations, corporate social responsibility, and comprehensive HR functions. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Sungkyunkwan University and a Bachelor's degree from Yonsei University, complemented by a Certified Public Labor Attorney license.
