Isaac Ivans

Isaac Evans has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Isaac founded and served as the CEO of Semgrep starting in May 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Redpoint Ventures from August 2016 to June 2017. Isaac also has experience in the United States Department of Defense, where they worked as a Computer Scientist from July 2013 to July 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Computer Scientist and Consultant to the Laboratory at MIT Lincoln Laboratory from August 2014 to May 2015. Isaac is a highly educated individual, having completed their undergraduate studies at MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from August 2009 to June 2013. During their time at MIT, they achieved notable accomplishments such as participating in the DARPA Robotics Challenge and finishing first in a final project. Isaac also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at MIT CSAIL Robotics, Vision, and Sensor Networks Group from January 2013 to May 2013. Isaac founded Silhouette Technologies in January 2012 and served as its founder until June 2012. Additionally, they gained internship experience at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport in 2011 and Matrix Design Group, Inc. in 2010.

Isaac Evans completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2009 to 2013. Isaac then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science, specializing in computer engineering, from MIT in 2014-2015.
