Prapti Panigrahi

Prapti Panigrahi has a diverse work experience in the field of research and academia.

Prapti is currently working as a Research Assistant at the Semiconductor Research Corporation since 2022.

Prior to that, they worked at Penn State University, where they served as a Research Assistant. Their responsibilities included rendering high-quality AR video graphics and extracting trace files for performance analysis of the GPU. Prapti also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, assisting in the teaching of Data Structures and Algorithms.

Prapti has also gained industry experience as a Summer Intern at ThorDrive in 2021. During their internship, they built a data collection pipeline for autonomous driving cars, connecting a frontend webpage to a backend AWS database and data storage system.

Additionally, Prapti worked as a Student Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Prapti was also selected for the prestigious Computer Architecture Summer School (CASS) 2018 program, where they received an introduction to computer architecture.

In 2016, Prapti was selected as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Prapti conducted a project comparing the performance of virtualized instances of MySQL Server with non-virtualized instances on a bare metal server.

Prapti Panigrahi has a comprehensive education history in the field of Computer Science. Prapti is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Penn State University, with an expected graduation year of 2025. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Odisha University of Technology and Research, graduating in the year 2018.

Prapti's education journey began at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they completed their Higher Secondary Education from 2012 to 2014, focusing on PCM with Computer Science subjects. Before that, they obtained their Secondary Education from the same institution in the year 2012.

In addition to their academic degrees, Prapti has also earned several certifications. Prapti received a CISCO Certified Network Associate certification from Central Tool Room & Training Centre in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Furthermore, they completed certifications in Introduction to BlockChains and Software Security as well as Machine Learning from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
