Amanda Hamer

Amanda Hamer, MSW, serves as Financial Grant Manager at Seminole County Government since June 2018, utilizing extensive experience in grant management, technical assistance, and budget development. Previous roles at the same organization include Grant Program Coordinator II and I, in which Amanda specialized in securing state and federal funding and performing program audits. Prior to this, Amanda worked as Clinical Care Specialist at Behavioral Support Services, achieving significant increases in client intake, and as Academic Advisor at Full Sail University, focusing on student support and retention strategies. Amanda began the career as a Treatment Social Worker at Foundations for Home and Community, providing case management and therapeutic interventions, and has also held a role as Continuous Quality Tech at Kids Hope United. Educational background includes a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Central Florida and dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Religion from Susquehanna University.
