Jeff Waters

Jeff Waters is an experienced environmental management professional currently serving as the Division Manager for the Solid Waste Management Division of Seminole County Government since November 2015. In this role, Jeff leads a team responsible for overseeing contracted garbage collection, operating the county's Class I landfill and transfer station, and managing environmental compliance. Previously, Jeff held various positions at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, including Emergency Response Specialist and Environmental Specialist, where responsibilities included responding to environmental emergencies, ensuring compliance at solid waste facilities, and conducting training. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Florida State University and a Master's Certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from the University of Central Florida.
