Kevin Sims

Kevin Sims has over two decades of experience in fire and emergency medical services, currently serving as the Community Risk Assessment/Standard of Cover Project Manager and Lieutenant/Paramedic at Seminole County Fire Department since October 2008. Responsibilities include initial fire operations, supervising a team of four, and assisting in major incidents as an Incident Command Technician. Previously, Kevin served as a Lieutenant/Paramedic at City of Winter Springs Fire Department, overseeing emergency scene management, and before that, served as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crewman in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Kevin holds an Associate in Science degree in Fire Science Technology from Seminole State College of Florida.
