Summer Best has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career at the American Quarter Horse Association as a Field Editor. They then moved to Seminole Feed, where they worked as the Director of Marketing and Editor. Following that, they worked at Florida Equine Publications as the Managing Editor. They later became the Executive Director of the Foundation for the Florida Horse Park. Summer then joined the University of Florida, College of Journalism & Communications as a Graduate Student and went on to become an Instructor for Undergraduate Communication Courses. After that, they served as the Community and Public Relations Director at Sholom Park. Most recently, Summer has been working as an Independent Business Owner at Summertime Enterprises/SunHorse Publishing & Promotions. Currently, Summer holds the position of Director of Marketing at Seminole Feed.
Summer Best earned a Master's degree in Mass Communication from the University of Florida from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a focus on Magazine Journalism and English, also at the University of Florida, from 1997 to 1999. In addition, Summer obtained a certification in Master's in Mass Communication from the University of Florida in 2015.
