Rafaela Thermidor

Rafaela Thermidor is an experienced urban planner currently working for the Seminole Tribe of Florida since August 2025. Prior to this position, Rafaela held roles at the City of Deerfield Beach, serving as both Planner II and Planner I from September 2022 to September 2025. Rafaela also gained valuable experience as an Associate Planner at the City of West Palm Beach from March 2020 to November 2021 and as a Planning Intern at the City of Miramar, Florida, from June 2019 to March 2020. Earlier in the career, Rafaela worked as a Zoning Compliance Coordinator at SBA Communications from April 2018 to June 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master of Architecture in Sustainable Design from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University, completed between 2016 and 2019.
