Steen Helles

Steen Helles is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital transformation and data strategy across various industries. Currently, Steen serves as a member of IDC's European Digital Advisory Board since 2023. Previously, Steen held the position of Transformation Advisor and Head of Group Data Transformation at Semler Gruppen A/S from 2019 to 2025 and directed digital projects as Digital Project Director at FLSmidth from 2017 to 2019. Steen's earlier roles include Program Manager at FLSmidth, Group CIO/COO at Ikano Group, and CIO and Director of IT at Maersk Tankers. Steen holds a Cand.Scient in Computer Sciences from the University of Copenhagen and an HD in Organization from Copenhagen Business School.
