Sempervirens Fund
Lauren Hofmayer, CFRE, is currently the Director of Major Gifts at Sempervirens Fund. Prior to that, Lauren held the position of Director of Individual Philanthropy at 826 Valencia. With an extensive background in development and education, Lauren has also worked as a Development Officer and Development Associate at Lighthouse Community Public Schools. Before transitioning to the development field, Lauren taught 3rd and 4th grade at both Lighthouse Community Public Schools and San Lorenzo Valley Elementary School. Lauren holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from Stanford University Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stanford University.

Sempervirens Fund works to protect and permanently preserve redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) forests, wildlife habitat, watersheds, and other important natural and scenic features of California’s Santa Cruz mountains, and to encourage public appreciation and enjoyment of this environment.
