Marcela Tabares Buritica

Marcela Tabares Buritica has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Marcela currently holds the position of Financial Planning & Investor Relations Director at Sempli, a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at MiCredi as the Credit Director from June to December 2021. Marcela also has experience at Sempli as the Credit Leader from July 2018 to June 2021. Marcela worked as an Exchange Student at Cultural Care Au Pair from June 2017 to July 2018. Marcela's early work experience includes working as an Auxiliar de crédito at Grupo Éxito from February 2015 to June 2017, where they were responsible for reviewing documentation and analyzing financial statements to assess credit risk. Marcela also worked as an Auxiliar operativa Banca Hipotecaria at Bancolombia from August 2013 to August 2014, where their responsibilities included consolidating and analyzing commercial data, preparing reports, and managing credit.

Marcela Tabares Buritica studied at the Universidad de Medellín from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniera Financiera (Financial Engineering). Currently, they are pursuing their Master's degree in Administración Financiera (Financial Administration) at the Universidad EAFIT, starting in 2021.
