Christopher Lyons

Christopher Lyons currently serves as Chief Regulatory Counsel at Sempra since January 2024. Previously, Christopher held various roles at San Diego Gas & Electric from November 2014 to January 2024, including Assistant General Counsel - Litigation and Wildfire Mitigation, as well as Managing Attorney, where Christopher provided legal and policy counsel on wildfire mitigation and prevention efforts. Prior to that, Christopher was a Senior Counsel at Sidley Austin LLP from January 2005 to October 2014, where roles included Partner and Associate. Christopher holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, obtained between 2000 and 2003, and a BA in Literary Studies from Middlebury College, completed in 1998.
