Masakazu Enami

Masakazu Enami, CPA has over 25 years of work experience in the accounting and finance field. Masakazu is currently working at Sempra as a Financial Systems Team Lead since July 2022. Before this role, they were a Principal Financial Systems Analyst at Sempra from October 2019 to June 2022.

Prior to joining Sempra, Masakazu worked at Solar Turbines, a Caterpillar Company, where they held the positions of Sr. Staff Accountant/Sr. Accounting Supervisor from January 2011 to September 2019.

Before Solar Turbines, Masakazu had an extensive career at Sony Electronics. Masakazu worked as a Finance Manager from May 2008 to December 2010 and as an Expert Financial Analyst from March 2007 to April 2008. Masakazu also served as Supervisor-Finance from November 2006 to February 2007 and as a Senior Financial Analyst from July 2004 to October 2006. Additionally, Masakazu worked as a Financial Analyst from May 2003 to June 2004 and as a Staff Accountant from October 2002 to May 2003.

Masakazu started their career at Sanyo in April 1997 as a Finance/MIS Manager. Masakazu led the start-up of a new subsidiary for the Electronic Component division and managed the accounting/finance and MIS groups for the newly established subsidiary in the Philippines. Masakazu completed various assignments through the International Management Rotational Development Program in Osaka, Japan; San Diego, US; Shekou, Shenzhen, China; and Tijuana, Mexico.

Masakazu Enami, CPA graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies, which merged with Osaka University in 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree. Masakazu later obtained several additional certifications, including Alteryx Designer Core Certified from Alteryx in 2020, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management 11.1.2: Create & Manage applications Ed 4 from Oracle in 2019, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (DMAIC & CPS Black Belt Training) from Caterpillar Inc. in 2015, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the California Board of Accountancy in March 2010.
