Moises Gomez

Moises Gomez has extensive work experience in the field of internal auditing and financial reporting. Moises currently holds the position of Principal Auditor at Sempra since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Audit Consultant at Vaco from October 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining Sempra and Vaco, Moises served as an Audit Manager - Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) at Farmers Insurance from January 2022 to July 2022. Moises also worked as an Audit Consultant at the same company from September 2017 to January 2022.

Moises's earlier experience includes working at Mercury Insurance, where they held various roles such as Team Lead - Internal Audit from December 2015 to September 2017, Internal Audit Specialist from March 2013 to December 2015, Senior Internal Auditor from March 2009 to March 2013, and Internal Auditor from June 2006 to March 2009.

These include the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., obtained in December 2017, the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA, obtained in December 2016, and the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification from ISACA, obtained in December 2017, among others. More recently, they obtained the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certification from ISACA in December 2020 and the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2020. Moises has also completed the Snowflake Data Analyst Training from Snowflake in 2021 and the Analytics Certified Data Analyst program from Galvanize, for which the completion dates are not specified.
