Kirill Vasin

Kirill Vasin has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Summer Intern at Northern Capital Gateway LLC. From 2015 to 2015, they worked as a Summer Intern at Maersk Group. In 2018, they co-founded and served as the CTO of WMSCrypto. During the same year, they also worked as a Freelance Data Scientist & Python Developer. In 2019, Kirill joined Semrush as a Machine Learning Engineer and later assumed the role of Data Science Team Lead in 2020.

Kirill Vasin obtained their Master's degree in Big Data Analysis for Business, Economy, and Society from the Higher School of Economics, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Financial Management from the Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg State University, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Kirill has obtained several certifications, including Machine Learning experiments and engineering with DVC from Udemy in December 2020, Lean Data Science Practitioner from ScrumTrek in October 2020, Docker for Beginners Hands-On Lab Exercises from KodeKloud in January 2020, and Machine Learning and Data Analysis Specialisation from MITP & Yandex through Coursera in September 2017.
