Rachel Handley's work experience begins in 2012 when they worked as a Content Writer at Axonn Media, where they researched, wrote, and published news articles for various clients. Rachel later became a Content Editor and was responsible for communicating directly with clients and managing their own workload.
In 2013, Handley joined Mediaworks Online Marketing as a Web Copywriter. Their main responsibilities included crafting SEO- and user-friendly web copy, producing blog posts and press releases, and tailoring content to meet the needs of B2B and B2C clients.
In 2015, Handley joined Flow Digital Limited as a Digital Content Executive. Rachel played a crucial role in the company's rebrand, managing the brand voice and content strategy. Additionally, they worked on proposals to secure new business and delivered copy for clients' PPC and SEO campaigns.
Also in 2015, Handley joined Glass Digital LTD as a Senior Content and Research Executive before being promoted to Head of Content in 2016. In their role as Head of Content, they acted as the main decision-maker for content marketing strategy across multiple SEO campaigns and managed a team of content writers.
In 2021, Handley worked as a Content Strategist at BeyondWords, where they developed content strategies and played a key role in attracting and engaging target audiences.
Currently, Handley is a Senior Content Writer at Semrush, a position they have held since 2022.
Rachel Handley attended Newcastle University from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics. Additionally, in August 2020, they obtained a certification in "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google Digital Garage.
