Jonathan has worked on space projects for 20 years, in software and systems engineering roles. He was Lead Systems Engineer for the RapidEye constellation of 5 Earth Observation spacecraft, (now owned by Planet). Jonathan’s experience includes working on the ground control systems for the XMM-Newton orbiting X-ray observatory, and most recently at Airbus on the software to control the ExoMars Rover, due to land on Mars in 2020. Jonathan studied Physics at Cambridge University before moving into engineering.
