Carlo Marchetti

Carlo Marchetti is an experienced Parliamentary Official at the Senato della Repubblica Italiana, serving as Head of the Information Systems Development Office since April 2004. Prior to this, Carlo was a Professor on contract at Università di Roma "La Sapienza," teaching courses in Applied Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, and Content Management Systems, while also engaging in research and supervising development activities in distributed systems. Carlo's career includes consultancy for major firms such as Accenture, Alenia, and IBM, focusing on system design and development. Carlo holds a PhD and Laurea in Computer Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, complemented by early education at Liceo Scientifico.
