Dionisis Korontzis

VP of Engineering & Operations at Senceive

Dionisis Korontzis has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Dionisis began their career at Schneider Electric as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer in 1998. Dionisis then worked at Marconi as an FPGA/ASIC Engineer from 2000 to 2002. Following that, they joined the Hellenic Air Force as an Electronics Dev Team Leader in 2002. In 2004, Dionisis worked as an FPGA Design Engineer at Fujitsu Network Communications and as an Electronics & Firmware Design Engineer at PerkinElmer LAS. During their time at PerkinElmer LAS, they co-invented a galvanometer-based laser scanning system for confocal microscopy. In 2006, they joined Trafficmaster, where they held the roles of Project Manager-Senior Design Engineer and Programme Manager. Dionisis then joined Teletrac Navman in 2012 as the Director of New Product Introduction, where they were responsible for developing digital platforms for the automotive market and driving major business process improvements. In 2018, they became the Chief Technology Officer at GTR GROWTH, where they accelerated new technology ideas and organizations through investment and management experience. After that, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at SYMBIOT-AM, where they focused on technological advancements. Currently, Dionisis serves as the VP of Engineering & Operations at Senceive, leading the engineering and operational aspects of the company.

Dionisis Korontzis pursued their education in various institutions and fields. In 1992, they enrolled at the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus and completed a BEng (Hons) in the Department of Automation in 1997. Following this, in 1997-1998, Dionisis attended the University of Bradford, where they studied for an MSc in Real Time Electronics and Control Systems. In addition to their formal education, Dionisis holds certifications as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) from The Institution of Engineering and Technology and as a PRINCE2 Practitioner from the APM Group.
