Seokwon Seo

Seokwon Seo serves as the Head of Engineering for Server Applications at Sendbird since March 2022, leading strategic projects, managing server incidents, and overseeing data analysis to enhance server application reliability. Prior to Sendbird, Seokwon had a significant tenure at LG Electronics from March 2013 to February 2022 as a Staff Software Engineer and Engineering Manager, where contributions focused on the LG webOS TV platform, driving innovation and improving user experience. Earlier experiences include freelance web development from December 2009 to February 2013, a research assistant role at Portland State University, and software development at DideoNET from March 2005 to November 2007. Seokwon holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University of Science and Technology.
