Sharon Apel Bursky is a seasoned behavioral health therapist currently working at Senders Pediatrics since March 2019. In addition to this role, Sharon serves as an adjunct professor at North Central University and an adjunct instructor at John Carroll University, both since 2017 and 2015 respectively. Prior professional experience includes therapy roles at PsychBC and St. Thomas Hospital, where Sharon provided outpatient therapy and worked with inpatients and families to facilitate patient discharge. Sharon's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision with a specialty in Marriage and Family Counseling from The University of Akron, as well as a Master's in Research and a BA in Psychology from Cleveland State University.
