Matt Smith

Matt Smith, PMP, has extensive experience in project management, with a focus on the manufacturing and automotive industries. Matt held the position of Director of Project Management at Seneca Companies, Inc from December 2015 to present. Prior to that, they held various managerial roles at Compressor Controls Corporation, including Commercial Operations Manager and Sales Operations Manager. Additionally, Matt served as the Program Manager at Gits Manufacturing, where they developed project timelines and established project management processes. Matt also worked as a Senior Program Manager at Takata, overseeing all phases of the project life-cycle and managing department budgets and resources. Matt began their career at J&J Automotive Group, starting as an Industrial Engineer and progressing to the role of Program Manager. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully completing projects on time and exceeding industry standards.

Matt Smith, PMP received their PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Supervision, and Industrial Safety from Central Michigan University from 1991 to 1996.
