Bob Wiseman

Bob Wiseman is an accomplished educator and composer with extensive experience in higher education and the music industry. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Toronto Metropolitan University since January 2025, Bob teaches a hybrid course on music business and songwriting. Concurrently, Bob holds the position of Professor of English at Seneca College since September 2022 and previously served as a Professor of Music at Western University until December 2024 and at Centennial College from September 2013 to April 2018. Bob has a rich background in composition for film and television dating back to 1992. In addition to teaching, Bob has contributed to the community as a board member for organizations such as Tranzac and the Toronto Animated Image Society. Bob's academic credentials include a PhD in Music from the University of Guelph and a PhD in Improvisation from the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation.
