Afraz Sheikh

Afraz Sheikh's work experience begins in 2017 when they worked as an Engineering Trainee at TECH CLUSTER, where they primarily focused on 2D drafting projects using Auto-CAD and Creo. Afraz then joined Imperial Metals Equipments in 2018 as an Engineering Trainee for a short period. Later that year, they worked at Porwal Auto Components Ltd as an Engineering Trainee in the pattern shop, where they designed and improved mechanical component patterns using Auto-CAD and Creo. Afraz also prepared daily production cycle reports.

In 2019, Afraz worked as a Management Engineer at ConsultAdd Inc. The following year, they joined Balance Staffing Company as a Recruiter. In this role, they worked on full lifecycle recruiting, sourcing and qualifying candidates, handling negotiations, and closing deals. Afraz also conducted in-depth technical interviews for positions ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations and performed due diligence steps such as reference checks prior to submitting candidates.

In 2021, Afraz became a Sr. Technical Recruiter at Apex Systems before moving to iPlace in the same year. At iPlace, they held various roles, including Recruiter, Senior Recruiter, and Specialist Recruiter/Lead Recruiter. In these roles, they continued to conduct technical interviews and worked on full lifecycle recruiting, composing candidate skill summaries, and performing due diligence steps.

Most recently, Afraz joined Seneca Resources in 2023 as a Recruitment Consultant.

Afraz Sheikh pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chamelidevi Group of Institutions between the years 2015 and 2019. In September 2020, they also obtained certification in "Mastering LinkedIn Recruiter Assessment" from LinkedIn.
