Derek Chan

Derek Chan is an experienced Assistant Engineer currently employed at RECOM Power since May 2023, with a prior role in the same position at AEM from August 2021 to May 2023. Derek served in the Singapore Army from July 2019 to July 2021, completing Singapore National Service with a focus on administration. Earlier work experience includes roles in the hospitality industry as a Club Waiter at CÉ LA VI and a Food Service Worker at Sushi-Tei Pte Ltd, where communication with kitchen staff was essential. Derek began professional experience at McDonald's, gaining adaptability through various workstations from February 2010 to February 2015. Education was completed at Republic Polytechnic, earning a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering between 2015 and 2019.
