Ian King

Ian King is the current Chairman at Senior. Ian was previously a Senior Software Engineer at Health Data Analytics Institute from September 2019 to November 2021. There, they developed scalable applications using React, NestJs, and multiple AWS application components. Ian also played a critical role in the design and implementation of key software components for both front-end and back-end applications. Ian was the lead developer representing HDAI at CARIN Connectathon conference (November 2020) where they successfully integrated their application with Payers including Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna. Ian led multiple production deployments and frequently acted as lead developer on resolving production errors.

Before HDAI, Ian worked as a Software Engineer II at Vistaprint from April 2018 to September 2019. There, they developed scalable applications using AWS and Typescript React. Ian also developed multiple Mobile first applications using Vue.js. In addition, Ian developed C# Services, APIs, and Applications in an Agile, Full Stack Environment. Ian managed deployment processes and code changes using Gitlab, participated in code reviews and analysis during functional, regression, and integration testing phases, identified, analyzed, and resolved software bugs during testing and production stages, provided bullet point documentation of many backend services using our Confluence suite, restyled and implemented front end web pages using mocks provided by UX team, created multiple New Relic dashboards to monitor the health of the front web site, and frequently presented team updates during weekly tribe demo meetings.

Ian King is a computer science graduate of the University of Maryland. Ian also has a certification in Talmudic Law from Yeshivat Derech Etz Chaim, and a high school diploma from Columbus Torah Academy. Ian is also certified by CompTIA in both Linux+ and Security+.
