Alessandro Valentino

Alessandro Valentino is a seasoned professional in machine learning and mathematics, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at sennder since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Scientist at Berlin Brands Group, where responsibilities encompassed research, statistical modeling, and MLOps for machine learning projects. Alessandro has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at The German University in Cairo and as a Senior Researcher at the University of Zurich, with a focus on mathematical topics. Previous positions include visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hamburg and The University of Göttingen. Alessandro holds a PhD in Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University and a Master’s degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
