Renato Pellegrini

Renato Pellegrini has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Renato is currently working as the Head of Pro Labs at Sennheiser, where they lead a team focused on 3D sound technologies. Renato started their journey at Sennheiser in 2018 as the Project Leader AMBEO, a role in which they worked on the future of audio, collaborating with a skilled and motivated team. Prior to their time at Sennheiser, Renato served as the CEO of sonic emotion ag from 2014 to 2023, and also held the role of CTO at sonic emotion during the same period. Before that, they were the Managing Director of Global Business Development, Managing Director of EMEA, and CEO at sonic emotion ag from 2002 to 2014. Renato's early career included a research engineer position at Studer Professional Audio AG, where they focused on hardware design and surround sound signal processing. Renato also pursued a Ph.D. at Ruhr-Universität Bochum from 1998 to 2001. Renato has a strong background in audio technology and has made significant contributions to the field throughout their career.

Renato Pellegrini earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ETH Zürich between 1991 and 1996. Prior to that, they completed their Matura from Gymnasium Münchenstein in Switzerland between 1986 and 1989.
