Francesco M Petrini

Francesco Maria Petrini is the Founder and CEO of Sensars, a position held since June 2014. With extensive experience in neuroprosthetics, Francesco conducted postdoctoral research at ETH Zurich from April 2018 to February 2020 and at EPFL from October 2013 to September 2019, focusing on enhancing upper and lower limb prostheses through human peripheral nervous system interfacing. Francesco's academic journey includes a PhD in Neuroprosthetics from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (2012-2014) and a Master’s degree in Medical Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (2005-2010). Additionally, Francesco has held roles such as Project Manager for the EU project SCRIPT at IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana and contributed to various research initiatives in biomedical engineering and robotics during a research engineer position at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
