Darren Magas

Darren Magas is a seasoned business development professional with over two decades of experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Sensata Technologies since January 2013, Magas leads the development of a $40M aerospace electrification business, focusing on products such as cockpit controls and electric motor position sensors. Previous roles at Sensata Technologies include Global Product Manager for aerospace product lines and Strategic Account Manager for key North American commercial aircraft manufacturers. Prior to that, Magas worked at W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. in various capacities, including Strategic Account Manager and Product Manager, where leadership in sales, engineering, and operations enhanced revenue and profits. Magas's career began at National Aviation Products, Inc. as a Production Manager/Manufacturing Engineer, and early engineering experience was gained at VOITH SULZER PAPER TECHNOLOGIES. A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree was earned from the University of Dayton.
