Lorraine A. Bolsinger

Lorraine A. Bolsinger is currently the Director at Sensata. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at GE Aviation from January 1999 to December 2005. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of product placement, pricing, and promotional activities for commercial, military, business jet, and service businesses. Lorraine also developed relationships with key airframe customers, including Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed, Embraer, Bombardier, Augusta, Gulfstream, and COMAC.

In their time at GE Aviation, Bolsinger forecasted the rise of Middle-East airlines and developed comprehensive regional marketing and sales strategies to win majority share. Lorraine also led the competitive analysis and most successful launch of wide body engine (GEnx). Furthermore, they advocated and gained approval for the first “air taxi” engine development in a joint venture with Honda Motors. Lastly, they won the sole-source application of GEnx on the Boeing 747.

Bolsinger then became a GE Officer and retired from the company in 2007. After retirement, they became the President & CEO of Aviation Systems from September 2008 to January 2013. In January 2005, they became the Vice President of GE Ecomagination until December 2008.

Lorraine A. Bolsinger has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Lorraine also has an Executive Education Program from the Kellogg School of Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Northwestern University.
