Omar Cots Fernández

Omar Cots Fernández has had a varied work experience since 2008. Omar began their career as a Food Service Worker at McDonald's, where they stayed until 2012. Omar then worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the Mycobacteria Laboratory at the Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Team Member at the Acuario de Gijón (Aquarium of Gijón), a Customer Service Assistant at Lidl GB, and a Warehouse Team Member at JD Sports for Assist Resourcing UK Ltd. In 2017, they became a Senior Scientist at SRG, and in 2021 they began working as a Microbiology Scientist at Sense Biodetection Ltd.

Omar Cots Fernández completed a Bachelor (Honours) degree in Biology, General from Universidad de Oviedo between 2005 and 2013. Omar then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Marine Biology from Universidade da Coruña between 2014 and 2016.
