Kristen Dougherty began their career in 1995 as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Staten Island University Hospital South and a Veterinarian Technician at South Shore Veterinary Hospital. In 1999, they became an Assistant Research Scientist at Sanofi-Synthelabo. In 2000, they joined Merck as a Research Biologist Safety Pharmacology, Research Biologist Chronic Toxicology, Project Manager, and Franchise Portfolio Manager. In 2010, they began working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Director of Immunology and Inflamation Portfolio, Director Program Management, and Associate Director in Program Management. In 2021, they joined Sensei Bio as Senior Director Program Management, responsible for leading the program management function and implementing program R&D team structure, framework, stage-gates and governance.
Kristen Dougherty received their MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Saint Joseph's University between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned a BS in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Delaware Valley University between 1996 and 2000.
