Kenneth Steiness, PMP, PMI-SP

Kenneth Steiness, PMP, PMI-SP has over 25 years of experience in the project management industry. From 1994 to 1996, they served as Lead Coordinator for the Danish Royal Guards (Danish Army), where they were responsible for coordinating guard duties for the Danish Royal Family at residences, ceremonies and state visits. In 1996, they joined MCI Systemhouse as a Business Development Consultant, where they were responsible for knowledge management consulting and business development in the South African, Israeli and European markets. In 1997, they were promoted to Senior Consultant at Viasoft/MCI Systemhouse, where they developed high quality service offerings and education materials for standard product training classes.

In 2000, Kenneth joined ASG Software Solutions as Product Manager and Director of Development. In this role, they were responsible for the Process Management practice and managed the complete project life cycle for multiple releases of ASG-Visual Process. Kenneth also managed relationships with industry analysts and performed regular briefings. In 2002, Kenneth became the Owner/Instructor of Proactive Perspectives. From 2004 to 2010, they served as President of MPUG Phoenix, where they managed the membership database and created the Workshop Committee.

In 2010, Kenneth joined msProjectExperts as Managing Partner & VP of Professional Services, where they were responsible for delivering Microsoft Project implementation services to clients, solution development, teaching workshops and contributing to writing books on scheduling, project management and Microsoft Project. Finally, in 2012, Kenneth became the Chief Executive Officer at Sensei Project Solutions, where they provided strategic direction to the company, provided Project and Portfolio Management services, solutions, training and apps to Microsoft Project, Project Online and Project Server clients, and was responsible for product development and delivering quality services to clients.

Kenneth Steiness, PMP, PMI-SP, holds a BA (Hons) Business Administration from Southampton Institute, obtained in 1996, and an Academy Economist from International Business Academy (IBA), obtained in 1994. Kenneth also holds a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner certification, obtained in September 2016.
