QM & Operations Manager at Senseye

Lavina Lawrence has over 17 years of experience in Human Resources (HR) and Business Operations. Lavina began their career in 1997 as a Project Officer/HR Advisor at Southampton City Council. Here, they were responsible for leading three TUPE transfers, advising on employee relations, developing communication strategies, and managing terms and conditions. Lavina also managed a team of 12 people, providing advice and guidance to managers with disciplinary and grievance issues. In 2013, they moved to the National Oceanography Centre as a Business Operations & Compliance Officer. In this role, they developed cross functional business support by improving operational objectives, enhancing operational procedures, and improving management reporting. Lavina also worked as a Project Coordinator/HR and People & L&D Project Officer. In 2017, Lavina joined Senseye as the Global HR & Business Operations Manager. In this role, they are responsible for managing the people, processes, and premises of the rapidly expanding software start-up.

Lavina Lawrence obtained a Diploma in CIPD Level 5 from Solent University between 2011 and 2012. Lavina also completed a Prince2 Foundation course from the APM Group in 2009.
