Seamus Devitt

Seamus Devitt has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Seamus is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Sensi, a position they have held since February 2020. Prior to their current role, they worked as a serial entrepreneur with a passion for IoT solutions, starting in September 2017. Before that, Seamus served as the Chief IoT Officer at OnePlus Systems from May 2016 to September 2017. Seamus also held various positions at Excelsys Technologies Ltd, including Director from March 2000 to July 2017 and CEO from 2000 to 2006. Seamus was the CEO/CTO of SmartBin™ from March 2010 to May 2016. Seamus began their career as the Managing Director at Delaire Ltd in 1994. Before that, they worked as the General Manager at Erndac NV from 1990 to 1993, Senior R&D Engineer at Deltron Inc from 1988 to 1990, and Design Engineer at Electronic Measurements Inc from 1986 to 1988.

Seamus Devitt earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Power Electronics from University College Dublin in 1983. Seamus went on to pursue a Master of Science in Power Electronics at Caltech from 1983 to 1984. Later, Seamus completed a Master of Business Administration at University College Dublin from 1992 to 1994.
