Nick Cavanaugh is the founder and CEO of Sensible Weather, a company that provides data-driven weather analysis and forecasting. Prior to Sensible Weather, Nick was a weather / energy analyst at Citadel, a data scientist at Cumulus Fund, and a postdoctoral fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Nick earned their PhD in atmospheric sciences from Scripps Institution of Oceanography in 2014.
Nick Cavanaugh has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Nick also has a Master of Science from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in Atmospheric Dynamics and Physics from UC San Diego, and a PhD in Atmospheric Dynamics and Physics from the same school.
