Berkan Gülenaltin

Berkan Gülenaltin has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Berkan started their career at ETH Zurich as a Hilfsassistent, assisting PhD students with their research activities and helping prepare lecture material. After that, they joined ABB Switzerland Ltd. where they worked as a Systemengineer/Optical Engineer, focusing on the research and development of Optical Current Sensors, component testing, and mechanical design specification. Berkan later became an Associate Scientist at ABB, where they continued working on the development and testing of optical, optoelectronic, and electronic components for Sensor Systems. In 2016, Berkan joined Sensirion as a Key Account Manager, responsible for managing key accounts. Berkan then moved on to become the Sales Director Automotive at Sensirion, where they led the sales strategies and activities for the automotive sector. Currently, they hold the position of Director Business Development at Sensirion.

Berkan Gülenaltin completed their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies from ETH Zürich between 2004 and 2010. In 2008 and 2009, they participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, specializing in Photonics. Before their university studies, they attended Kantonsschule Rychenberg Winterthur (Grammar School) from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained their Matura qualification. Additionally, Berkan Gülenaltin holds a certification as a Master of Science from ETH Zurich in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.
